You might call it an evolution. 

Carol was the co-owner of two successful upscale antiques businesses in Connecticut for over 15 years. That is where she fell in love with antique botanical prints.

As time passed, in 2014 she created her own line of botanical designs but she also became involved in creating design books for adult colorists which then expanded into several photography and non fiction books.

 She was also always drawn to abstract art because of it's freedom of expression and how it evokes the imagination of the viewer. 

So Carol and her art have evolved into her own style somewhere between the more primitive and simple botanical designs of the 18th century and the bold and colorful abstract art of today!
